Winter Harvest Chardonnay Compote

Yields 1 ½ cups
½ cup The Donum Estate Chardonnay
¼ cup each dried golden raisins, dried nectarine and dried peaches, chopped fine
½ teaspoon orange zest
Place all ingredients in a heavy bottom pot and simmer on low flame, covered for 12-15 minutes, until fruit is plump and wine is reduced to syrup. Enjoy a glass of Donum Estate Chardonnay and serve with Delice de la Vallee and fresh sliced baguettes.
Winter Harvest Pinot Noir Compote

Yields 1 ½ cups
½ cup The Donum Estate Pinot Noir
¼ cup each dried cherries, cranberries and raisins, chopped fine
1 tablespoon Pomegranate Molasses
Place all ingredients in a heavy bottom pot and simmer on low flame, covered for 12-15 minutes, until fruit is plump and wine is reduced to syrup. Enjoy a glass of Donum Estate Pinot Noir and serve with Point Reyes Toma and fresh sliced baguettes.
