Jon Otis and Larrie Noble

“MUSIC MAGIC”

Drummer/Percussionist/Singer Jon Otis teams up with Guitarist/Vocalist Larrie Noble in an “Unplugged” setting playing some of their favorite popular songs and a sprinkling of their originals.

Jon, son of the legendary artist Johnny Otis is steeped in the pulse and music of our times. Having played with artists diverse as his father’s band The Johnny Otis Show, the Rock band Foreigner, Jazz pianist Les Mc Cann, Blues harpist James Cotton, New Age harpist Andreas Vollenweider and the Latin Jazz vibraphonist Cal Tjader to name a few, Jon is an all around musical talent.

Larrie Noble grew up in the Oakland “Eastbay” music scene as a vocalist and developed a unique original style playing guitar and interpreting Gospel, Blues, jazz, R&B, Brazilian styles and popular songs along the way. Playing with talents like Pop Staples of the Staples Singers, performances of Porgy and Bess featuring Calvin Simmons and the Oakland Symphony and stints with the jazz piano great Ed Kelly made an unmistakable imprint on Larrie’s sound.

Together MUSIC MAGIC bring an eclectic blend of many musical styles and are a guarantee for an entertaining sonic adventure.
