Meet Sheana & Ben

Sheana Davis, Sonoma Valley cheesemaker, culinary educator, and founder of The Epicurean Connection, has enthusiastically supported the artisan and farmstead cheese movement for more than 25 years.

Ben Sessions, is a lifelong Napa and Sonoma resident. Growing up in wine country it was only natural for him to follow that path becoming our Wine educator and conducting our cheese classes. Be sure to ask about his signature Brie Brûlée!

Award-Winning Cheesemaker
In 2009, Sheana proudly released her own cheese, Delice de la Vallee, and in 2013, her Creme de Fromage, which in 2010 won an ACS 1st Place, was released to a national market as well. Her cheeses are only available for purchase at The Epicurean Connection. You can also find them featured on the menus of chefs throughout the greater Bay Area.

Cheese Education
Sheana and Ben teach cooking and cheesemaking classes both virtually and in person. In addition, their corporate team-building classes have become a fun way for groups to connect with each other and have fun. Sheana participates as a guest chef at local and national culinary events.

A Whole Lot More!
In their spare time, they love traveling especially to their beloved city of New Orleans. Sheana and Ben reside in Sonoma with their dog, Melbi, and cat, Spicoli. Sheana’s daughter, Karina, lives in Santa Cruz where she attends UCSC.
